“Stand Up and Be the Change” is a universal message from His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, to our generation to become “decisive catalysts” for positive change. In advance of his arrival in Manchester on June 16th, he has partnered with Dazed&Confused to spread his message of peace and dialogue in the 21st Century.
Dazed reached out to their friends around the world, Stella McCartney, Jarvis Cocker, Michael Stipe, Tilda Swinton, Willem Dafoe, Marina Abramovic, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Grimes and Beth Ditto to support the campaign by each reading a line from His Holiness’s vision statement via Skype.
