AoB PLANTS is an online, internationally peer reviewed open-access journal publishing high quality papers on all aspects of plant biology.
Founded in 2009, AoB PLANTS is published by Oxford Journals (Oxford University Press), on behalf of the Annals of Botany Company to provide the highest quality publishing service on a non-profit basis for the benefit of the international plant science community.
As the primary intention is that cost should not be a major impediment to publishing in the Journal it is entirely free for authors for an initial period, thereafter, open access fees will be imposed, increasing gradually over time but remaining modest. If you do not have funds to pay, there is an opportunity to ask that your fees be waived, especially if you are from a developing country.
